Returns & Statutory Conformity 

Consumers may exercise the statutory right of withdrawal within 14 calendar days from the day on which they or a designated third party, other than the carrier, acquire physical possession of the goods. No reason is required.

The original packaging is recommended for safe return but is not a condition for exercising the statutory right of withdrawal. The Consumer is liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product. Before removing the protective liner from any pre-applied double-sided adhesive tape, removing, damaging or repositioning the adhesive tape itself, or installing the LED strips, the Consumer should therefore verify the product reference, dimensions, number of strips, number of LEDs, voltage, connector position and other relevant compatibility characteristics.

Removing the protective liner from pre-applied adhesive tape, removing, damaging or repositioning the adhesive tape, affixing the strips to a television using the adhesive, cutting, soldering, modifying connectors or other components, or otherwise leaving installation marks goes beyond the inspection normally necessary to establish the product’s characteristics where compatibility could have been verified beforehand. Where such handling means that the returned product can no longer be sold as new, the Consumer may be liable for the objectively established diminished value of the product. Depending on the condition of the returned goods and their remaining commercial value, this reduction may be substantial and may, where objectively justified, correspond to the full loss in value suffered by the Provider.

Important: Please verify compatibility before removing the protective liner from the double-sided adhesive tape or installing the LED strips.

The direct cost of returning goods following an ordinary withdrawal is borne by the Consumer, unless applicable law or the Terms and Conditions provide otherwise. Returns concerning defective, incorrect or non-conforming goods are handled separately and the necessary costs are borne in accordance with the applicable statutory conformity rules.

Consumers also benefit from the statutory conformity rights provided by applicable EU and national consumer law. Under EU law, the statutory liability period is at least two years from delivery and may be longer where applicable national law provides greater protection.
